Help.com’s private Live Chat beta is about to launch! For those of you who aren’t familiar with us yet, Help.com is a customer service platform that is aiming to improve the way your business communicates with customers. Our leadership team has spent over 15 years working in various roles throughout the customer support experience. Whether it be 1-10 employees at a new startup or thousands of employees at companies like GoDaddy.com and HostGator.com, we’ve experienced the pains associated with one of the most important tasks involved with running a successful business.

The first piece to our product suite is Live Chat, where you can talk to your customers on any device in the world, in real-time, directly from your website. It takes a few minutes to set up, and can easily be customized to fit your specific website and circumstance.

We know the limitations and pains of the existing tools in the market, much of which exist due to older technology. Help.com is built to horizontally scale with the latest technologies and is clustered throughout multiple regions on Google Cloud. This allows us to provide a true 99.999% uptime guarantee on all of our services, and scale on an as-needed basis with zero downtime. One of the biggest questions we receive is “How many chats can you take at once?”; our answer is simple: as many as you can send us!

But wait, there’s more! Help.com Live Chat is not just your ordinary chat system. We have some amazing features that we can’t wait for you to see. We’ve built Help.com Live Chat to not only make supporting your customers much easier, but we’ve also built in proven workflows and integrations that will streamline your sales process and make converting new customers easier than ever.

Getting started is easy. Simply sign up for our Beta today at http://beta.help.com, and you will reserve your spot. We will be opening up our Beta with ten users at a time over the next 4-6 weeks so make sure you get your spot fast!

Oh, I almost forgot. You will also receive three months of service completely free upon public launch, and a free migration from your existing platform. Spots are limited, so act fast!

    Ramona,
Our Live Chat product allows you to communicate with customers in real time from your website. You’ll see it live on our site where you can connect with a staff member with a few clicks. For sales, this helps you answer questions in real time, proactive engage customers, and communicate with customers who would otherwise drop off your site because it didn’t have the information they needed to make a purchase. We also integrate with e-commerce software like Shopify, Magento, and Volusion to give your reps insight into the customer’s order history, current orders, etc.

For support, customers can contact you in real time with any questions or issues they may have. This allows you to service them before they decide to give up on your product or service and retain the customer. We also have great reporting which allows you to drill down into the most common issues so you can help improve your products and services. Stay tuned for more updates and a full feature list in 2017!
